With all the extra time we have to spend in doors owing to the current pandemic, why not use this to our advantage?
Seeing as though we cannot go partying this year, it might be nice to scrub off all the grime of 2020 and go into 2021 with a sparkling home.
One place that often collects dirt is our ovens, but a Mrs Hinch fan has come up with an easy way to clean it.

This fabulous hack for cleaning your oven racks, rather surprisingly, involves tinfoil and not one bit of scrubbing.
Writing to the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, which shares tips in a forum of people who are fans of social media cleaning star Sophie Hinchliffe, she explained: “A client asked for tips or advice on how to clean her oven but especially the racks.
“I sent her this and this morning she sent me back some photos.
She then continued: “Firstly wrap your racks in tin foil. Place in the bath with two dishwasher tablets and cover in hot water. Leave overnight.
“As you can see from her photos. Maximum result, minimum effort.”
Although many in the group were very impressed with the clear results the method achieved, some questioned why the dishwasher tablet was not underneath the tinfoil.

One group member wrote: “I’m confused,” said one. “Surely it would be better to have the dishwashing tablet inside the foil?”
However the answer was given by another who explained: “There is a chemical reaction between the aluminium foil and the dishwasher tablets”.
While a different Mrs Hinch fan affirmed: “I followed this technique and it worked so well on my racks. They’re like brand new.”
Wow, we will definitely be trying this!
