A model who has been told she looks "10 years younger" has now revealed the secret to her youthful appearance.
Marcela Alonso, 41, will do anything to maintain her age-defying looks, even if that means getting her blood sucked out.
The beauty, from New York, US, has regular vampire facials, a treatment which is popular with reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
She claims to earn $20,000 (around £14,600) a month as a model and will spend a few hundreds on the painful procedure.
Speaking about her appearance, Marcela said: "When I tell people how old I am they can't believe it.
"Men in particular are always floored and say that I look like I'm in my 30s, not 40s."
The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial can take a person at least four days for their skin to recover.
It works by extracting blood from the arm and using a centrifuge to separate the platelets and plasma from the red blood cells.
Once extracted, it is applied to the face using a Dermapen or through microneedling to infuse the skin with the PRP.
The model added: "When I first started I couldn't believe how painful it was but now I'm used to it.
"It's really more of a smarting sensation, like when you've been slapped really hard."
She continued: "It's better than any cream or make-up product.
"Unless I'm working, I never wear foundation but honestly I don't need it thanks to the vampire facial."
Although it's not cheap, Marcela affords her treatment with the help of her successful OnlyFans account.
The mum also shares her content on Instagram, where she has over 369,000 followers.
She joined the platform in 2017 to earn some extra cash and support her daughter throughout her studies.

But when coronavirus hit, the site became her main source of income.
Marcela has previously worked as an exotic dancer, having started two years after giving birth to her daughter at 16.
However, she quit six years ago in favour of a "vanilla" job but realised it wasn't enough to pay for her child's future.
She said: "I have a lot of younger fans who like older women who are more confident, doesn't play games and will be direct with them.
"A lot of them were lonely during the pandemic and couldn't date, and I was able to video chat with them and interact."
