The BAFTAs always produce some serious red carpet moments, but it was Michelle Keegan who caught our eye on the red carpet last night. The Our Girl actress was a vision in pink, and she also extended that rosy colour through to her beauty look.
Wearing her hair down in Hollywood waves, the actress added extra elegance to her look with lashings of mascara, a luminous base, heaps of highlighter and a glitzy pink eyeshadow. Very dazzling.
We’ve been desperate to find out exactly what went on her face to give her such an ethereal glow, and her makeup artistEmily Clarksonhas now delivered the news we’ve been looking for. Michelle wore a full face of Charlotte Tilbury makeup on the red carpet, which certainly explains the sparkly pink hues – something the Tilbury brand is synonymous with.
Michelle isn’t wearing just a couple of Charlotte's products, though; the brand says she wore the new Pillow Talk Party products, as well as some other classic buys from the core Pillow Talk collection
If you haven’t read our full review of the new launches, you cancheck that out here, but here’s a quick summary of what was on Michelle’s face last night:
Pillow Talk Dreams Luxury Palette, £43 here
Michelle wore this new four-shade eyeshadow palette that features metallic and matte shades of pearlescent rose gold, dusky rose, berry brown and rosebud pink.
Colour Chameleon in Pillow Talk, £22 here
Charlotte’s easy-to-apply cream eyeshadow pencil has had a pillowy makeover, and now comes in the glitzy pink-nude. Sweep all over the lids for a light-reflecting and soft-focus effect. It was also central to Michelle’s pinky/nude eye look.
Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! in Dream Pop, £25 here
We can’t tell if the actress is wearing this new shade of brown mascara or the original black, but whatever she chose, it worked perfectly for her peepers!
Pillow Talk Multi-Glow in Dream Light and Romance Light, £35 each here
Two new powder Pillow Talk highlighters have also joined the collection. Featuring a blend of four different shades of pearl, pinks and golds, you’ll be able to quickly copy Michelle’s multi-dimensional glow.
We’ve also had word from the brand that Michelle wasn’t the only leading lady to wear a full Tilbury look on the BAFTA red carpet. Olivia Colman also joined the Pillow Talk Party gang, as well as Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood.
Ooh, the glamour.
