‘This wasn’t an experiment, but a discovery of how Marie-Claire and I could collaborate on a project to showcase her art and my designs.’

Laura selected her favourite floral compositions from Marie-Claire’s portfolio and then worked with silk printers at the Glasgow School of Art who transferred the designs onto the fabric.

The finished collection features dresses, skirts and blouses with great attention to detail made on the placement of the floral designs.

Laura’s designs were carefully created to showcase Marie-Claire’s exquisite floral compositions and have been modelled in the photoshoot by a selection of society beauties and close family friends at Marie-Claire’s home – Melbourne Hall in Derbyshire.
