A parent was cringing when she saw her eight-year-old son's response to a Christmas homework answer.
The mum says she was shocked to discover her child's answer to the school work question.
In the Christmas-themed activity, it had the word "snowman" written in block letters down the page.
The children were asked to use each letter of the word as the start of a sentence.
While some kids included festive references, the young boy decided to take a different approach to the letter M.
Instead of following in his classmates' footsteps, the kid wrote "Mum is drunk" in his hilarious response.
Mum Kelly Martin shared the homework blunder online when she noticed the cheeky answer.
Luckily she was amused by the response which looks like it was from last year.
She wrote: "M is for… Absolute classic from last year from my then 8-year-old! Written at school. Just to confirm I'm not always drunk."
The post secured thousands of likes from parents who know what happens when their children share too much information.
One parent amused by the Facebook post wrote under the image: "What a legend."
Meanwhile another social media user added: "That's hilarious. Love it! Kids."
While a third parent shared: "Children! My son once wrote a poem in school about me having hairy spiky legs and drinking gin!
"I was mortified! Luckily the teacher found it comical! I don't even drink gin."
Others dubbed the response as "brilliant" and "hilarious", claiming it's something their kids would do.
Previously, a mum was left in hysterics after her son literally "drew balls on a Christmas tree".
The parent shared some funny snaps of her child's Christmas homework sheet on Reddit.
Her young lad answered his festive homework in a rather rude way, which had his mum crack up laughing.
