If you’ve been following Charlotte Crosby since her early Geordie Shore days, you’ll know she isn’t exactly the shy and retiring type. In fact, there seems to be no subject too personal for her to share with fans.
The latest look into the world of Charlotte has been just as eye opening as you might expect, as the star has just filmed herself getting a facial – and the results aren’t what you’d call pretty.

Amanda Holden says this anti-ageing ‘tweakment’ has made her look five years younger – and Kim Kardashian loves it too
Taking to Instagram Stories to document her visit to Jennifer Smith Aesthetics in Newcastle, Charlotte can be seen getting two different facial treatments. The first is dermaplaning, where a professional shaving tool is used to get rid of fluffy hair from the skin. The second is deep cleansing HydraFacial treatment, where a vacuum-like device sucks dirt out of pores.
If you’ve just turned your nose up reading that last sentence then you’re not alone, as Charlotte was just as put off by the image of dirt coming out of her skin.

“That has come out of my skin… there are so many dead skin cells floating around in there!” she says in the short video.
And it’s true, the results are on the grim side. Charlotte’s therapist, Lauren, held up a pot of yellow-tinged liquid to show just how much grime and dead skin can come off the complexion – even if it looks clean!
Charlotte also shared a visual of the HydraFacial probe going up and down her skin, delivering a deep cleanse.

The great thing about this treatment is that it doesn’t just suck dirt from pores, the device also delivers potent skin actives at the same time – which work to protect, plump and moisturise. It does all this using hydradermabrasion; skin exfoliation with water instead of the traditional grit that microdermabrasion uses.
But it wasn’t just the cleansing step of the facial that Charlotte got vocal about, as the Just Tattoo Of Us presenter also seemed disgusted at the very first dermaplaning part of the facial.
“Can you please get that tash off! Look at how hairy that is!” she exclaimed.
Charlotte booked in for the HydraFacial Signature Treatment, £160, and the Dermaplane Facial, £30, both at Jennifer Smith Aesthetics, but if you fancy giving them a go yourself, you’ll find them both on most beauty clinic menus nationwide.
