B&M shoppers rush to buy ‘bargain’ furniture set that scans as £10 at the tills instead of £80 | The Sun

B&M shoppers have been rushing out to buy a five-piece furniture set scanning for just £10.

The Spaceways dining set usually retails at £80 but one customer managed to grab it for a fraction of the cost.

They shared their find on the B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More Facebook group.

They said: "Never really find the bargains, but finally found one. £10 B&M Shipley."

The post has been liked over 160 times with bargain hunters looking to get their hands on one of the sets.

One shopper, tagging their friend, said: "B&M trip on Sunday."

Meanwhile, a second B&M customer, tagging her partner, added: "This would do us babe."

The set comes with four chairs and a table and is currently on sale online for £80, down from £100.

We've approached B&M to see if the product is on sale for £10 at other stores and will update this story when we know more.

However, if a product's price has been slashed as much as the Spaceways furniture set, it's usually to clear excess stock.

So that means stock will be limited from store to store and some might not have it for the same reduced price.

Of course, it's always worth shopping when looking to buy a product as you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

We had a look around and couldn't find a better deal than what B&M is offering at its Shipley store.

In fact, it doesn't look like any other retailers sell the exact same model.

But, IKEA is selling a similar oak set for £179 while B&Q is selling a five-piece set for £136.99.

How can I find the best bargains?

If you're looking to bag a bargain you've got some options.

You can always try comparison sites to make sure you are getting the best price for something.

Trolley.co.uk lets you cross-check thousands of products across a number of high street supermarkets.

Meanwhile, pricespy.co.uk lets you compare prices on everything from laptops to sportswear across 6,000 stores.

If you are supermarket shopping, keep an eye out for any products with yellow stickers on them.

Staff put these on to show something has been reduced, usually when the packaging is damaged or it is due to go out of date.
