Aside from her whistle-tone vocals and knee high boots, one thing Ariana Grande is known for is the unbelievably long ponytail she has been rocking since she first emerged into the music scene back in 2013.

The pop singer, 27, has sported a few different hair looks since then, including the time she revealed her natural hair to her fans – which is much shorter and curlier.

But the hairstyle Ariana is most famous for is her flawless ponytail, thanks to celebrity hair stylist Chris Appleton, who created some of her most iconic hair moments.

To keep the ponytail looking slick and to secure any fly-aways, Chris uses an “edge styler”: a small, double sided brush which is great for styling baby hairs – a trend embraced by celebs like Beyoncé and Kylie Jenner.

Chris gives the edge styler a spritz of hairspray, and then uses the tool to smooth out any imperfections – revealing a sleek, “snatched” ponytail.
