Salehe Bembury is revisiting the New Balance 574 YURT following last week’s trio of iterations, this time dousing the striking silhouette in a more subtle “Black/Team Royal” colorway.
Despite being named after New Balance’s epochal 574, the YURT borrows very little aesthetically. The uppers arrive covered in a mix of hairy suede and leather panelling, while a layered black mesh, with the functioning whistle is housed on the rear of the sneaker. A sewn-on “N” logo sits atop blue and purple detailing in the upper and the sole, which has also been given an upgrade with ABZORB SBS and ROLLBAR innovations delivering a comfortable but bulky look.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 574 YURT “Black/Team Royal” colorway is set to drop on April 26 and will be available from various retailers, including Asphaltgold. Sign up to be in with a chance of purchasing them here.
