Fortnite celebrates Stan Lee’s 100th birthday with massive Marvel sale

No one knows how long it’ll last, but the Fortnite store is chock full of Marvel cosmetics from the game’s old crossovers.

Marvel has been one of Fortnite’s most frequent collaborators since 2018, and it’s easy to understand why. Aside from Marvel’s many comic book franchises being incredibly popular, the company has a surplus of characters it can lend to the battle royale.

Over the last several years, the likes of Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America have all been added as playable skins. However, these skins were only ever available for a limited time, meaning latecomers have missed out on obtaining certain characters.

However, with surprisingly little fanfare, Epic Games has now filled the in-game store with almost every Marvel cosmetic Fortnite’s ever had (including skins, emotes, gliders etc.,), from some of the earliest additions like Thanos to the more recent characters like the Hulk.

The official Fortnite website and social media accounts have made no attempt to advertise this nor explain why this has happened.

However, it’s been noticed that today would’ve marked the late Stan Lee’s 100th birthday. So, this is no doubt meant to serve as celebration of the occasion.

Fortnite is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
