Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling got even more couple goals as they adopted a rescue dog.
The mum-of-two shared a sweet snap of herself cuddling a sweet grey Doberman named Lucho (which means ‘I fight’ in Spanish) on her Instagram on Wednesday.
‘Meet Lucho. The newest member of our family. We adopted him from this amazing agency called Friends for Life Rescue Network @fflrescuenetwork,’ she wrote alongside the shot.
We’re not sure what’s cuter – the dog, or Eva urging fans in the caption to adopt or donate to rescue shelters.
She penned: ‘If you’re looking for a fluffy family member, adoption is a great option. So many little dudes out there needing a home. If you’re not able to have a pet but love animals, you can donate to this nonprofit.’
Eva went on: ‘All donations are tax deductible. Your donation helps keep animals off the streets and out of shelters where they euthanize.’
It might be tough to juggle a pooch and her two young children with Ryan – Esmeralda, four, and Amada, two – but we reckon Mendes is up for the job.
Ryan, 38, lost his beloved dog George in 2016 when the pooch was aged 17 so he’s no doubt ready for some animal fluffiness in his life too.
It comes after Eva revealed she’s keen to get back into making films after spending time away from the spotlight.
The 45-year-old, who previously said she can be left ‘feeling guilty’ as a working mum, admitted that she’d ‘sign up in a heartbeat’ if she could work with Ryan again.
