It’s tough to keep up with celebrity couples these days, as many of their relationships are short-lived. And that’s no different for famous singer/songwriter Halsey. Halsey’s created incredible music collaborations with many of her boyfriends of the past. And when she wrote “11 Minutes” with Yungblud, fans thought their quirky, creative romance would actually last.
We know Halsey is now with American Horror Story star Evan Peters, which deeply saddened Yungblud fans. While the songstress moved on quite quickly after their brief, whirlwind romance and quiet breakup, it looks like Yungblud still has a photo of him and Halsey from when they were together — and fans noticed.
Halsey and Yungblud broke up in September 2019
Halsey and Yungblud met each other at a bar in New York, according to Heavy, and Halsey noted their meeting felt fresh and “organic.” “I just got into an Uber by myself, went downtown, and we just met up … total stranger, I’ve never met him before,” she said. “It was cool for me because it reminded me of when I was back in New York and making music, and I would do that; I would just link with other artists … and it felt really organic.”
After their meeting, the singers first sparked dating rumors back in November 2018, Heavy reports, as the two were spotted leaving a recording studio together at the time. And a witness to the budding romance spoke about it to E! News. “It was so obvious there was something going on, they were so close,” the source said. “She was definitely feeling him, from what I could see it definitely seemed there was an attraction.”
Unfortunately, by early September, People reports the couple broke up. “It was sort of abrupt, and it was Halsey’s decision to end the relationship,” a source told E! News. “Halsey has been very busy with her work commitments and traveling a lot recently, and their relationship was getting rocky.”
Halsey began dating Evan Peters shortly after
Halsey made it known via Twitter that she’s had a crush on Evan Peters since his appearance on American Horror Story in 2012. And shortly after her breakup with Yungblud, her dream came true. She and Peters were spotted on a date to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Sept. 21, just weeks after her breakup from Yungblud.
By October, Halsey and Peters were getting comfortable with PDA, too. They reportedly were spotted on dates together, with one source telling Us Weekly about it. “They definitely looked like a couple. They were eating together and Halsey was laughing throughout their lunch. When they walked out of the restaurant they were hugging each other,” the source claimed.
Halsey was Peters’ date to the American Horror Story 100th episode celebration, too. And Peters’ ex-fiancée, Emma Roberts, was also at the event.
Yungblud’s fans noticed he still has a photo of him and Halsey on Instagram
Despite the breakup, Yungblud didn’t take down his photo of him and Halsey in onesies that he posted to Instagram on August 5. He posted the photo as a birthday thank-you from both him and Halsey. And fans are still talking about it.
“Sis dated half the music industry. She was no good for him. Dom deserves way better,” one fan commented on the post.
Another wrote along with crying emojis, “He kept the pic even though they broke up…”
Yet another added, “I love them both and it sucks they left eachother.”
Yungblud hasn’t directly spoken out about his split from Halsey, but he did yell, “Somebody take me to Disneyland,” on his Instagram Story after Evans and Halsey were spotted at Six Flags. This made a number of fans assume Yungblud was a bit bitter toward his ex. Despite any possible ill feelings, it looks like he doesn’t have any plans of taking his Instagram photo of him and his ex down, however.
