Who Is Aryan Simhadri? Meet the Percy Jackson Series Grover Underwood!

Aryan Simhadri is starting work on the upcoming new Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians!

The young actor has been cast to play Percy’s friend Grover Underwood, who is a satyr, half boy and half goat, disguised as a 12 year old boy.

“I am so happy, honored and humbled. Thank you so much @rickriordan @disneyplus for this dream role,” Aryan shared on Instagram. “So so happy to be finally able to announce this….I am the GOAT!! 😄”

“Percy Jackson” author Rick Riordan, who wrote the series pilot and serves as an executive producer on the show, praised his audition and what he’s bring to the character.

“In his auditions for Grover Underwood, Aryan won our hearts. He had me laughing out loud with his delivery and timing. He has a mixture of sweetness, humor and internal toughness that is perfect for our favorite satyr,” Rick shared on his website. “Grover has some big flying shoes to fill, but Aryan is exactly the right guy for the job. He and Walker already have a great dynamic together. And the visual magic we will be using to give Aryan his satyr’s goat legs is next-level stuff. Wait until you see!”
