Wendy Williams has already disappointed fans by rescheduling multiple dates of her much-hyped tour.
The daytime talk show host, 55, was expected to host her “For the Record…Umm Hmm! Tour” at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Friday but rescheduled the event last-minute for September because of “scheduling issues,” according to the St. Pete Catalyst. The new date will be Sept. 21, 2019.
Page Six has also learned that Saturday night’s show in Detroit has been rescheduled for October, but an insider told Page Six that scheduling issues are hardly the problem for Williams.
“The tour is shaping up to be a disaster,” the source said. “What other dates have been ‘rescheduled’ that nobody knows about yet?”
Our insider also said Williams’ struggles surpass her estranged relationship with husband Kevin Hunter.
“As per usual, even without Kevin as Wendy’s manager, she’s proving herself to be messy,” the source told us. “Guess it’s not a full ‘hot girl summer’ for her after all since she’s giving fans reasons to think nothing has really changed.”
A rep for Williams didn’t return Page Six’s request for comment.
