Vicky Pattison may be happier than ever with her boyfriend Ercan Ramadan, but the former Geordie Shore star posted a cryptic quote about falling in love and getting "hurt" by someone with "red flags".

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner, 34, who is currently loved-up with her former TOWIE beau, 37, took to her Instagram stories to reshare the quote onto her followers.

"And for my next trick, I fall in love with someone made entirely from red flags, try to fix them, get hurt, and then go on a 3 month bender trying to get over him," the message read.

However, it seems they are in a good place as on Wednesday, Vicky shared some pictures of herself and Ercan smiling and holding hands as she shared an update on decorating their house.

"New home, new adventures, new memories… Awwww what a lovely day me and this little rascal had on Monday visiting @arighibianchi!! Don’t get me wrong, I was absolutely gutted their cafe wasn’t open.. (anyone who’s been KNOWS what I’m talking about… their Victoria sponge is EPIC) But it was none the less a very successful little shopping spree," she said on Instagram.

"We’re finding decorating and furnishing the house is taking a little longer than we probably anticipated but I suppose it’s all part of the process and I really feel like we made some headway on Monday!!

"So I’m pleased! You guys know what it’s like, you’re trying to do it around working, normal life and the burning desire to go out and enjoy easing restrictions…

"I suppose it just wasn’t realistic for us to expect to have it all done in a couple months and I’ve made my peace with that now and it’s actually made everything so much more enjoyable."

It comes after Vicky revealed she and Ercan are sleeping in separate bedrooms after having her contraceptive implant removed.

The TV star had the implant taken out after suffering with mood swings, but she has insisted they are not ready to have children yet.

"I went to see my doctor recently because I was getting such mood swings," she told Notebook magazine.

"Even I could see what I was putting Ercan through was probably not normal.

"The PMS would start two weeks before my period, then I’d be on for a week, so there was only one week a month when I was normal."

Vicky concluded: "Ercan would come home to find me crying on the sofa, and he would say, ‘Baby this isn’t normal’.

"That was my wake-up call.”
