Vicky Pattison admits wedding plans have halted after engagement party

Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has opened up about her wedding plans, admitting that they've grinding to something of a halt following her lavish engagement party.

The TV star, 35, announced her engagement to builder Ercan Ramadan early this year, and celebrated their engagement with a star-studded event in July, that boasted over 100 guests.

In the aftermath of this, the happy couple revealed that they likely won't be tying the knot until 2024, and speaking exclusively to OK! at The Sun's Who Cares Wins awards, Vicky says that the party has "scratched that itch."

Asked how her wedding planning is progressing, she said: "Honestly I wish they were slightly more advanced, we've been so busy.

"We had this huge great engagement party and I feel like that kind of scratched the itch. Nothing interesting to report but as soon as there is I'm sure I'll be telling everyone about it."

Vicky has previously opened up to OK! about her relationship with Ercan, revealing she’s ready to start a family with him.

She said: "I know Ercan is who I want to have babies with. It’s all going in the right direction. Life is really nice at the minute."

Earlier this year she also discussed her decision to freeze her eggs, as she was somewhat unsure on having kids but still wanted to keep that door open.

Discussing this decision she said: "I thought it was so expensive. I was talking to Vogue Williams about it on my podcast, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s like £10,000.’ You know, I’ve actually thought to myself, yes it is £10,000, but you’ve got to think, it’s your future happiness.

"I was talking to Amy Hart about it who’s obviously been through the process herself and she’s been so lovely with the advice she kind of gave me a bit of a breakdown with the cost and prices and everything.

"I just thought to myself, ‘Hang on a sec Vicky, you don’t think twice about buying yourself a designer handbag once a year, yet for the sake of a couple more thousand pounds, you are potentially doing yourself out of the chance to be a mother."

She continued: "You’ve just gotta' bite the bullet and accept that it’s an important precaution to take. I think (freezing my eggs) is my way of taking back that control in allowing me to enjoy living my timeline and doing things that are right for me, rather than when my uterus tells me.”

Speaking to OK! at the Who Cares Wins Awards, the former Queen of Jungle discussed this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! revealing that she hasn't had a chance to properly watch this series.

However Vicky has still picked which celeb she hopes follows in her footsteps, as she says: "Jill Scott's fantastic isn't she?"

Jill is currently the second favourite to win the series, with Hollyoaks star Owen Warner the current favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle.
