Tom Cruise looks pumped in first appearance since Justin Bieber 'agreed to fight

Justin Bieber might be about to eat his words after offering to go head to head with Tom Cruise in a UFC fight as the 57-year-old actor is looking pretty pumped in these new pics!

Tom was spotted in LA for the first time since Justin reportedly offered to take him on in the octagon, and the actor was looking in pretty great shape.

The Top Gun star was on the set of the long-awaited sequel, Top Gun 2, where he was papped wearing a blue t-shirt and sunglasses.

Tom, who plays Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell in the ‘80s hit movie, was later seen wearing a camo print bomber jacket with the American flag on the sleeve.

It looks like filming is well under way for the sequel, with planes being seen filming sequences at the Naval Air Station Fallon in Nevada, USA last month.

The sequel started shooting late last year and is scheduled for release next summer. It will see Tom reprise the iconic role of Maverick, who is now a Navy captain.

Maverick is expected to be mentoring a new generation of pilots including the son of his deceased sidekick, Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw.

When he’s not busy on set, Tom had better be heading down to his local MMA gym, as Justin Bieber seems intent on fighting him in the octagon sometime.

According to TMZ, the Purpose singer agreed to take part in a UFC fight with Tom if the Mission: Impossible actor is also down for the bout.

UFC bosses claim to believe that Tom could agree to the fight, taking on Justin despite their 31-year age difference.

Justin, however, later backtracked on his threats and said he reckons Tom would actually win in a fight between the two of them.

He explained: ‘I’m pretty sure Tom would whoop my ass in the fight. I’d have to get in some good shape.

‘He’s out of my weight class. He’s got that dad strength. Love you Tommy.’
