Thor and Vikings star Ray Stevenson has died

Ray Stevenson’s publicist has confirmed that he died on Sunday, May 21. The Northern Irish actor is best known for his roles in the Prime Video series Vikings, Thor (2011) and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, among many others.

His representatives confirmed the news to Deadline, but did not provide any further details.

Tributes have flooded social media, with countless fans remembering Ray’s decades-long career.

Sam tweeted: “RIP to Ray Stevenson. Memorable and great in every role, but he has one of my favourite beats in The Other Guys. If the news is true, he will be missed.”

Gretchen echoed: “RIP Ray Stevenson, whose turn as Titus Pullo on ROME is one of the greatest effortlessly charming performances of TV’s golden age. A warm guy, by all accounts, and a serious craftsman. He’ll be sorely missed.”
