Shakira has signed with WME to represent her in all areas, the agency announced. The Latin superstar was previously represented by CAA.
Over the course of her 30-year career, Shakira has released 11 studio albums and sold over 80 million records worldwide. She is the only artist from South America to have a No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 with her 2006 smash hit “Hips Don’t Lie.”
The Colombian singer/songwriter has four songs total that charted in the top 10 on the Hot 100 and 21 songs total on the song chart.
Shakira has received numerous awards, including three Grammy Awards, twelve Latin Grammy Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, thirty-nine Billboard Latin Music Awards, six Guinness World Records and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2009, Billboard listed her as the Top Female Latin Artist of the Decade.
On YouTube, her videos have been viewed more than 18 billion times. She is ranked as the most-streamed Latin artist on Spotify and became one of only three female artists to have two YouTube videos exceeding two billion views.
Forbes ranked her among the top-earning women in music in 2008 and 2019. Shakira is the first artist to perform three times at the FIFA World Cup.
Her latest album, El Dorado, charted at No. 1 on iTunes in 37 countries upon release and won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards and Best Latin Pop Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
