Pregnant Marnie Simpson ‘so upset’ as she’s being sick ‘every single night’

Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson has revealed she has been experiencing sickness every single night, which is causing her to be "too scared" to eat anything.

The pregnant star – who is expecting her second child with Casey Johnson – opened up on her worries on her Instagram stories, revealing she also feels she "can't breathe" due to feeling so "uncomfortable in bed".

Marnie, 30, posted two selfies while asking her followers for help, as she is unsure whether being sick this regularly is "normal pregnancy sickness".

"I'm sick almost every night, and I'm bringing the majority of the food I've eaten during the day up, is this normal pregnancy sickness?" she asked. "As it doesn't feel like it. It feels more like indigestion sickness, like the food I'm eating throughout the day isn't digesting and just comes back up."

The star then described how she has been feeling in more detail by saying it feels as though her "intestines are blocked" as the food "won't go down".

She shared: "I was sick about 10 times in the middle of the night and the pains in my back and tummy were awful. Obviously, my bowels aren't working as good as they never do in pregnancy. Has that got anything to do with it?

"The acid oil the sick has really hurt my throat. At this point, I'm scared to eat at all, it's getting me so upset."

In her next post, Marnie said she is "worried the baby isn't going to get enough nutrients", so she decided to call her doctor for advice.

"I called the GP up and got nowhere. Maybe I'll try again today," she added, before mentioning that she finds it hard to take deep breaths when she's settling down to go to sleep at night.

"Also, another note, before I'm sick, I'm so uncomfortable in bed, like every possible position is so painful and I feel like I can't breathe," Marnie continued.

"I struggle to get a deep breath until I've been sick, it's almost as if there isn't enough room or something? It's weird. Once I've been sick, I'm relieved slightly, but today I feel weak, which is why I think I need help."

The mum-of-one finished by asking: "[If you have] any suggestions, please let me know, especially with what food to eat as at the minute I'm scared to eat anything and I'm so hungry."

It comes after our OK! columnist admitted to feeling "frustrated with herself" for not being "more active" in her second pregnancy.

"I’m definitely getting bigger. I feel like this time I'm carrying quite a lot of water, which is a bit of an insecurity because I've got a lot of cellulite," she shared.

"It's frustrating because I really did want to be more active this pregnancy. I wanted to go to the gym, and I genuinely just don't have the energy."

Marnie added: "I do feel a little bit frustrated with myself because I feel I'm going to be quite big after the baby arrives. It's going to be hard work to lose the baby weight this time.

"My health is the most important thing, though. I've just got to keep going and just get through it. Pregnancy is hard, but you have to keep going."
