Meek Mill, Meghan Trainor and Rapsody are set to perform at a free NFL Kickoff concert in Chicago.
Mill, Trainor and Rapsody will be performing in support of the league’s social justice platform, Inspire Change, in Chicago on September 5 ahead of the NFL season opener between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit organizations with values that align with the initiative’s key priorities. Portions of Mill’s performance, as well as Trainor’s, will be shown on the NBC and NFL Network pregame shows.
The concert will be the first show in the NFL’s brand new entertainment partnership with Roc Nation.
Last week, Mill reached an agreement with prosecutors that ended his 12-year long gun case.
Mill pled guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge, while prosecutors dropped all other charges. The rapper won’t have to serve additional time in prison after reaching the agreement.
