After Demi Jones opened up about the breakdown of her relationship with Luke Mabbott, the Love Island hunk and his girlfriend Lucie Donlan have been trolled on social media.
The couple, who recently took a romantic road trip to Scotland, took to Instagram to share screenshots of the sort of messages they've been receiving.
Writing alongside it, Luke, 25, said: "We see every comment, every message. My parents always said: if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all.
"Being nice costs nothing. BE THE SO SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM."
Lucie, 22, also addressed the trolling on her stories and explained: "‘This video has unfortunately sent a whole load of hate trolls our way which has really affected both of us with their horrible and sometimes disgusting comments.

"It’s something that really should not be happening on the internet especially in these difficult times when people are already struggling with their mental health'."
In Demi's video, the 22 year old, alluded to the fact that there may have been a crossover in Luke's relationships with her and Lucie.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, Demi said that everything was fine for the first two weeks after coming out of the villa, but things changed once they went into lockdown.

Demi went on to reveal that although she thought distance was what was driving a wedge between her and Luke, she later learned there was more to the story after Luke dumped her "out of the blue".
"Very shortly after, I actually received some photos via my DM from a fan that had spotted Luke and Lucie in Cornwall together.
"I actually never told Luke this because I didn't want beef but I saw it and this was literally less than two weeks after the public breakup."
The reality star, who recently launched a new lounge wear collection with In The Style, added that she went onto Lucie' profile and noticed interactions between the pair.

In response to Demi's video, Luke hit back at her and claimed she asked him to lie about when they split.
According to Luke, Demi said: "Can you wait three weeks for my clothing brand to launch?
"I was thinking: "My feelings come first". I wasn't too happy about it but I did say yeah," he said on his Instagram stories.
