Laura Anderson has admitted she felt guilty the whole time she was in Dubai.
The Love Island star, 31, was slammed for jetting off to Dubai amid the pandemic, for a trip which she insisted was for work purposes.
Laura, who recently said it was “hard” being an influencer, has now confessed her guilt as she responded to fans’ assumptions about her in a series of videos on her Instagram story.
She responded to an assumption which said: “You feel guilty at times being in Dubai while Uk was in lockdown. [sic]

Opening up to her 1.4million followers, Lauren, who was dressed in a brown fluffy top and sat in her bed, said in a video: “Oh my God. I felt guilty the whole time. I don’t anyone realised how bad the strain would get and how quickly. So hearing people upset at home, I felt horrendous.”
Laura added by writing on top of the footage: “The backlash was horrendous and still is. I don’t expect anyone to understand my situation.
“I apologise to everyone I’ve upset, I truly mean that as air was never my intention. I genuinely felt it was my only coping mechanism as a single accupant.” [sic]
The Scottish reality star, who recently shared sweet childhood snaps of herself, answered more assumptions about her Dubai work trip, as she isolates from the trip.
One critic wrote: “You are one of those people that thinks Covid is fake news and it can’t touch you”.
A perplexed Laura hit back as she said in a video added to her Instagram story: “What planet are you on?
“No. I know a lot of people that have had it. I know a lot of people that have lost people, Jesus, I do not think it’s fake news I cannot wait to get the vaccine roll that motherf**ker out!”
Meanwhile, another fan posted a third assumption to Laura, which read: “You genuinely visit family when you go to Dubai you’re not just going for the sake of it,” followed by a pink heart emoji.
Laura then explained: “Yeah I mean I did live there before Love Island, even though it’s become a trend to go.

“I think it’s the whole tarred with the same brush thing. It was quite a difficult time, just with the whole press situation…”
Writing on top of the video, she added: “I just wanted to see my family and not be alone over the holidays so I left before level 4 started on 26th.
“I’m trying to start up a business there (which I wasn’t ready to share) but there ya go that’s the work I was doing, not influencing, you can do that from pretty much anywhere, brand dependant.”
