Katya Jones took to Instagram today following her BBC Morning Live Appearance on Monday to share some insight with her 199,000 followers. The Strictly star posted a comment on her story where she claimed “a lot of men” had been messaging her about their wives and suggested she “might have a word”.
Katya, 32, appeared on BBC One’s Morning Live following her elimination from Strictly Come Dancing with celebrity partner Adam Peaty, 26.
Despite winning over audiences earlier in the competition, Adam and Katya received the lowest score from the judges on Saturday night, and ended up being sent home.
On her Instagram story today Katya posted a screenshot of herself speaking on Morning Live looking chic in a black dress and headband.
She captioned the photo: “A lot of men messaged me saying they wished their wives would do the same and I should have a word with them!”

Katya appeared on BBC Morning Live on Monday and was first asked by host Gethin Jones how she was feeling following her recent Strictly loss.
“You know what, this is my sixth year and I think I must be used to it by now,” she said.
“But no, it hurts just as much.”
The star then went on to talk about her passion for sustainable fashion with Gethin and his co-host Sara Cox.
Katya explained how she was wearing a dress that belonged to her grandmother, which she estimated was around 50 years old.
The star explained that her headband was also eco-friendly, as it was made out of old pairs of tights.
Katya also shared some Strictly behind the scenes secrets, revealing that many of her outfits had recycled or repurposed elements in an effort to be more environmentally-conscious.
The sustainable fashion movement takes a stand against the idea of “fast fashion” where consumers might buy clothes and only wear them a few times before throwing them away and selling them on.

The star’s Instagram comment was therefore likely in reference to men wanting their wives to spend less on shopping for new styles and to try and get more wear out of their clothes.
Katya and Olympic swimmer Adam got just 27 points overall for their jive on Strictly last Saturday, which helped land them both in the dance-off.
The other couple who the public placed in the dance off was newbie Strictly professional Nikita Kuzmin and Tilly Ramsay, the daughter of famous TV chef Gordon Ramsay.
Tilly and Nikita finished third from the bottom of the leaderboard with 31 points for their Tango to Kings & Queens by Ava Max, which put them at serious risk of landing in the bottom two.
In the end, three out of four of the judges chose to save Tilly and Nikita, with judge Shirley proving to be the only dissenting voice who would have chosen to save Adam.
Up the other end of the leaderboard were AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington, who received a near-perfect score of 39 for their energetic Charleston.
Following just one point behind were Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden, who wowed the judges with their Paso Doble to Amparito Roca by Jamie Texidor, which established Tom as something of a dark horse in the competition.
Morning Live airs every weekday at 9:15am on BBC one.
