Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler, 32, has revealed how he and Katie’s other ex-husband Peter Andre, 46, have bonded over the way they co-parent with her.
Kieran, who split from Katie split in 2018, opened up to new! magazine about how he brings up his children, Bunny, five, and Jett, four, with his ex, and how much he has in common with Katie's other ex, Peter.
Speaking about co-parenting with the model, Keiran said: “We do our best to co-parent as well as we can.
“The only way you can protect your children who are in the public eye is if both parents work together. They have to be singing from the same hymn sheet.”
Katie’s ex, who is now dating Michelle Pentecost, was then pressed on if he and Katie are on the same page, as he prefers to keep his children away from the limelight – which is tricky with Katie’s celebrity status.
He said: “The trouble is she’s always going to be in the public eye. She physically can’t come out of it now.
“We made the decision to have children together and in doing that I always knew my children would be raised in the limelight.
“That’s not really choice, that’s a fact. It’s just about trying to manage it now we’re not together anymore. I’m trying to be as normal as possible. Where Katie’s life is as far from ‘normal’ as you can possibly get, I’m hoping their time with me keeps them balanced.”
The former stripper feels he holds the same values as Katie’s other ex-husband Peter Andre, who as Junior and Princess with Katie.
Speaking about his bond with Peter, Kieran said: “Me and Pete are very similar in the way we parent. We just try to ignore the madness.

“He’s like me in that he wants to be the best dad he can be under the circumstances.”
Dad-of-two Kieran also addressed claims he was going for full custody of Bunny and Jett, after he was spotted liking a comment which said he should go for full custody and called his ex a "disgrace".
Responding to the reports, Kieran said: “No. That is absolutely not true about the custody. And I accidentally liked the comment that said she was a disgrace.
“I literally touched it as I was scrolling on Instagram. There were hundreds of those types of comments on there. Why would I like just one comment? It was a total accident. I want to make that clear.”
This comes after the hunk recently shared an old photo of himself with long, curly hair and glasses on Instagram and later opened up to his 109,000 followers about his experiences with bullying while he was at high school in an honest video.
In the caption of the five-minute long video, he said: “Ok so for those that know me and for those that don’t I was bullied at school between the age of 12 and 16.
“There are people back then that helped me when things got bad and that only happened because eventually I spoke out rather than suffering in silence. For all those starting school who are dreading going back to bullies and those scared of being bullied it’s good to talk and whether it is family friends or teachers please do speak out it could really change things for you. X.”
Speaking about his experience with bullying, Kieran said: “I really struggled with fitting in. I floated between groups and couldn’t figure out where I belonged, and because of that people took advantage of me.
“I got bullied purely over my looks. I had glasses and longish hair and I used to change my hairstyle all the time to try and fit in. I once dyed it blonde and wore it in curtains to look like David Beckham because I thought people might like it more.”
He added: “I’d get verbal abuse, pushed around, spat on. They would fight me at school and I wouldn’t fight back because I never wanted to fight to begin with.”
The hunk later explained how becoming a stripper and marrying Katie was a “victory” for him after all the trouble he went through in high school. He added: “When I left school all I wanted to do was get ripped and muscly and change my hairstyle. I wanted to be the one people wouldn’t mess with – the one who has all the attention from women.”
