Katie Price has taken aim at the media in her latest foul-mouthed social media rant after newly released snaps showed the reality star leaving a rehab centre.
The former glamour model, 41, shared the defiant footage with her 2.1 million Instagram followers on Saturday and insisted that she visited The Priory in order to film her reality show My Crazy Life.
The bombshell slammed recent reports and declared she is 'mentally stable' after checking into rehab over the past two years in the wake of legal issues and substance abuse.
Appearing angry at the new snaps, Katie explained that she had been instructed to see a psychiatrist before filming her Quest Red series My Crazy Life to check if she was "mentally stable".
She explained that this is now standard procedure after the recent controversy surrounding aftercare and psychiatric help on shows like Love Island.
She furiously ranted: "So there are pictures of me coming out The Priory. That's right!
"When you do TV now you have to see a psych because of everyone hanging themselves and committing suicide. You have to make sure you're mentally stable and I am."
Arguing that the media need to 'get off her back', the mum-of-five announced: "I'm not in The Priory for any reason other than so I can film my show on Quest."
The reality star has been struggling to turn around her fortune in recent months as she deals with relationship breakdowns, financial trouble and homelessness.
Her scathing social media rant comes after the star declared she was going to change her phone number and email address for a fresh start.
After she shared a series of inspirational quotes about being a single mum to her Instagram story recently, she also announced a personal message she had for her friends.
She said: "Just to let people know I'm changing my number and starting a new email, fresh start needed.
"Any friends DM your number. I've decided to be more private and start fresh!"
It is the latest attempt the former glamour model made to start afresh amid a high-profile financial crisis.
Katie hasn't had it easy in recent months as she hit rock bottom last year after her spiralling debt and relationship woes caught up with her in a series of tumultuous events, ending in her bankruptcy.
The mum of five's year from hell started to look like it was improving as she jetted off to Thailand for New Year with her eldest son Harvey.
Mirror Online has contacted Katie's rep for comment.
