The Duggar family was rocked by the allegations against Josh Duggar. In April 2021, Josh Duggar was arrested on suspicion of downloading child sexual abuse material, and he’s set to head to trial in November 2021. Now, Duggar family critics noticed Jessa Duggar seems to have changed talent agencies in the midst of it all.

Is Jessa Duggar estranged from the Duggar family? She may step away due to the recent Josh Duggar news

The latest Josh Duggar news has Duggar family fans and critics curious as to what the the Duggars will choose to do next. A number of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s kids, like Jessa Duggar, still find success via their online platforms with or without the show. Jill, Joy-Anna, and Jinger all keep their fans apprised of what’s going on in their lives via Instagram and YouTube. But it seems the family may crack under the pressure.

Fans who follow the family know Jill left Counting On behind to pursue her own life goals with her husband, Derick Dillard. So, is Jessa also heading that direction? It seems Jessa still sees her parents and younger siblings at the huge family house quite often. But a source told People the family isn’t as close as they used to be.

“They aren’t as close as they once were because of all of Josh’s legal drama,” the source alleged. “It’s creating a lot of stress on them — although the majority of the family is acting like nothing has happened.”

Jessa Duggar appears to join a new talent agency separate from her siblings

A number of Duggar family members have agents of their own to help them market themselves. And Duggar family critics on Reddit realized Jessa Duggar seemed to change hers. While Jinger Duggar still lists [email protected] for her business inquiries, Jessa now lists [email protected] as her agent on her Instagram.

“Jessa’s change in representation – until now, all of the Duggars who listed a rep … listed Jenny from the Gift Shop,” a Reddit user noted. “Jessa has jumped ship. Thoughts?”

“It’s a ‘talent and influencer’ management agency,” another Reddit user noted. “Is she stepping up her ‘influencer’ game?”

“I think she has the most followers of any of them, maybe she’s looking to make enough to get out of that highway house!” yet another critic wrote.

Why has TLC canceled ‘Counting On’? Could the Duggars return with a new show?

After Josh Duggar’s arrest, TLC decided to cancel the Duggar family’s TV show, Counting On. “TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On,” TLC said in a statement to Us Weekly. “TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.”

What does this mean for the Duggars — particularly Duggars who are still hoping to keep their jobs as influencers — going forward? Some Reddit users think Jessa Duggar might hope to get her own TV show separate from her family.

” … Stepping up the influencer game seems likely, but I wonder if she’s looking for her own TV show,” a Reddit user wrote.

We’ll have to wait and see what the family decides to do next. Josh’s trial will take place on Nov. 30, 2021.
