Iggy Azalea Reveals Cover Art, Release Date For New Album

Iggy Azalea has revealed that her long-awaited sophomore album, In My Defense, will be released on July 19. She also unveiled the LP’s graphic, blood-stained cover art.

In My Defense will be available for pre-order on Friday, June 28. Azalea has not released an album since her debut The New Classic back in 2014.

Azalea also released the album’s cover art, which features the Australian singer lying dead, soaked in her own blood, on the side of her car. Blood is splattered over the side of the car as well, as a red light shines on the car.

“It’s a statement about women not having the ability to defend themselves under public gaze, not rebirth,” she said about the artwork.

The track list for the album includes “Thanks I Get,” “Clap Back,” “Sally Walker,” “Homeita,” “Started,” “Spend It, F*** It Up,” “Big Bag,” “Commes Des Garcons,” “Freak Of The Week,” “Just Wanna” and “I Know.”
