Holly Willougby has broken her silence on the alleged 'feud' with This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.
The 38-year-old TV presenter has responded to claims made by former Dancing On Ice judge, Jason Gardiner.
Jason, 48, had branded the pair as "fake" and said that they were not the true friends that they are made out to be.
The Sun has reported that Jason, who was known for his brutal assessments on the ITV skating show, has said that Holly and Phillip had not been in contact with him since he left the show last year.
Jason had worked with Holly and Phillip since 2005, so is a little nonplussed that he has not heard from them since his time on the skating show came to an end.
Tearing into the National Television Awards winning duo, Jason said: "Since it was announced I was leaving the show I’ve had nothing from Phil and Holly. Not even a text message."
Jason went on to say that he found it "hurtful" that he has been met with silence as he said that he sent Phillip "a message of support" when he was receiving a lot of negative feeling in the media.
Taking a swipe at the This Morning pairing, Jason said: "I thought they would get in touch but I’ve learned this industry is full of fake and disingenuous people."
Holly has now hit back at the claims, saying: "There’s nothing to defend."
The Sun has reported that Holly went on to claim: "We ring each other and talk to each other all the time anyway, about this and other things.
“We know what we’re like. It would be impossible for us to fake the giggles."
Holly went on to say that she is "not that good an actress," to be on the "telly for two and a half hours" and not be friends.
She went on to say that if she was able to 'fake it' she would be "doing something else.”
