Viewers were left emotional as Chris Eubank appeared on tonight’s episode of Celebrity Gogglebox. The boxing legend made an appearance hours after it was announced his son Sebastian Eubank had died.

Chris paid tribute earlier tonight to his son who died at the age of 29 in Dubai.

Soon after the news broke, he appeared on Channel 4’s show Celebrity Gogglebox with his other son Chris Eubank Jr.

The show was recorded earlier this week but viewers were moved by his sad family news.

Taking to social media, many paid tribute to the boxing legend.

One viewer penned: “Really feeling it for Chris Eubank and today’s terrible news about his son drowning just before his 30th birthday.

“Watching Chris on Celebrity Gogglebox right now and seeing him so happy not knowing the devastating news coming his way. Sad.”

Another wrote: “Watching #gogglebox and thinking about #eubank”

“So sad to hear about Chris Eubank’s son passing in Dubai ! RIP Sebastian #Gogglebox,” added a third.

A fourth viewer continued: “It’s odd and really sad that the news of Chris Eubank’s son’s death (different son) whilst he’s on Gogglebox.”

Chris announced the death of his son Sebastian with a moving tribute earlier today.

He wrote: “Never did I ever imagine I would write these words or experience the feeling I now have at the loss of my son.

“My family and I are devastated to hear of the death of Sebastian just days before what would have been his 30th birthday.

“He leaves his wife Salma, his son Raheem born just a month ago, his mother Karron Meadows, brothers Nathanael, Chris, Jr, Joseph, one sister Emily and countless relatives and friends.

“Sebastian grew up in Hove in England but in the last few years made his life in Dubai where he had a wide circle of friends and was a leader in the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and of alternative therapies.”

Chris continued: “As well as being a personal trainer and professional boxer, Sebastian was also a deep thinker who liked to challenge accepted wisdom.

“He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be forever in the thoughts of friends and family.

“As a family we now kindly ask to be given space and privacy to celebrate his life and remember the son, the brother, the husband, the friend.”

Sebastian was a former professional boxer himself and had also taken up MMA.

He had moved to Dubai with his wife and recently became a father.

His brother and Gogglebox star Chris Eubank Jr wrote on Twitter: “Rest easy little brother.

“I love you & you will be missed always @SebEubank.”
