Kimberley Walsh has shared sweet photos of her second eldest son Cole as he embarked onto his first day at school.

The four year old boy was getting ready to join his brother Bobby, seven, at the same primary school and they were all smiles in their adorable uniform.

Posing for their mum Kimberley, 39, the children stood together in the hallway of their family home.

There was a giant house plant nearly as tall as Bobby and a white mirror on the wall behind them.

Curly-haired Bobby wrapped his arms around his little brother, whose brunette locks were styled in a side parting for the milestone moment.

Both boys were wearing polo tops, navy jumpers and grey school trousers as part of their matching school uniform.

The former Girls Aloud star also took some snaps of her “baby Cole” on his own as she got ready to wave him on for his next journey.

In one picture, the little boy also grinned with his book bag slung over his shoulder, as he stood on the balcony outside.

While in another, his proud mum added a star emoji to a close-up snap of him excited of what the day would bring.

“Good luck baby Cole,” Kimberley captioned the pictures, crossing her fingers her son would have a fantastic first day.

Kimberley recently welcomed her third baby, Nate, with her husband Justin Scott.

The couple, who also share Bobby and Cole, have been married for five years.

It comes as Kimberley recently shared her grief over the loss of former Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding, who died of breast cancer at the age of 39.

Posting a throwback snap of her hugging her longtime colleague and friend, the mum-of-three gave a tribute to her "beautiful" friend.

"Beautiful Sarah this hurts so bad. To wake up and know that you are really gone is too much to bear. Hearing your infectious chuckle was one of my favourite things in the world.

"Your fire burned so bright and you loved, lived and laughed so hard," the singer continued. "Sending love and strength to everyone who is grieving today. My heart is broken."
