Death In Paradise season 10 has seen some familiar faces return to the fictional island of Saint Marie to mark it’s 10th anniversary. Behind-the-scenes, Ralf Little, who plays the current lead detective DI Neville Parker, made the most of the old and new cast coming together and filmed a short skit for fans.
He could be seen in character walking into the police headquarters only to find his predecessor sitting at his desk.
“Who’s this guy? Why are you at my desk?” he said to Ben Miller, who played DI Richard Poole in the first two seasons of the show.
The original detective dubbed him a “delusional psychopath” in the short clip, which Ralf revealed was improvised.
The camera then spun around to show Joséphine Jobert, as DS Florence Cassell, and Sara Martins, who recently reprised her role as DS Camille Bordey.
Florence asked Camille: “What are you doing here?”
The latter amusingly replied: “Police stuff.”
Sharing the footage, which was filmed for TikTok, on Twitter, in view of his 258,000 followers, Ralf joked that Sara was “not really into improv”.
He also said it was “great fun” to record together, while filming the special anniversary episodes.
He captioned the video: “DI Parker meets DI Poole. (And DS Bordey shows she’s not really into improv.)
“Great fun on @deathinparadise with @ActualBenMiller @Josie_official and the Queen that is Sara Martins.”
Many took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.
“Loved this. Great to see Richard back,” one follower wrote, while another added: “Season 1 meets season 10 cast.”

“Absolutely brilliant,” a third remarked.
Drawing attention to Sara’s line, a fourth fan said: “‘Police stuff’ – maybe not great improv but definitely funny and charming.”
Sharing a similar sentiment another added: “‘Police stuff…’ Sara Martins is the best!”
Questioning the storyline, one fan asked: “So, if DI Poole is a ghost, how come everyone can see him? #AskingForAFriend.”
Ben’s character was murdered in the first episode of season three.
He made an appearance as a ghost in the current series to talk to his former co-worker Camille, following the attempted murder of her mother Catherine Bordey.
Élizabeth Bourgine has played the restaurateur and Mayor, a series regular on the detective drama, since the very first series.
She is the longest serving cast member along with Commissioner Patterson, played by Don Warrington.
