Following the birth of his second daughter, Chance the Rapper has postponed the start of his “The Big Day” tour until January.
The rapper announced the change of plan on Monday, five days ahead of the trek’s scheduled first show in San Francisco.
“I thought it over for the past week and I’ve decided to push back my tour,” Chance said on Instagram beside a photo of him holding the newborn and his elder daughter, Kensli.
“I need to be as helpful and available as possible to my wife in these early months of raising Kensli and Marli,” he added. “I apologize because I know how many people were counting on seeing me soon, but I hope you’ll understand and forgive me in time. Tour kicks off Jan. 15th.”
Chance promised full refunds to fans who bought tickets for the tour.
