Brian lives in the Surrey countryside with his wife, former EastEnders actress Anita Dobson.

He did not reveal any details surrounding the fox’s rescue.

The 73-year-old musician founded the Save Me Trust in 2009, in order to work on the issues affecting today’s wildlife.

He regularly campaigns for the protection of animals.

The rockstar also runs an animal sanctuary which rehabilitates foxes, badgers and hedgehogs in his back garden.

He set up the Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue on his own land in Windlesham.

Brian also works with his Amazing Grace team to rehabilitate hedgehogs.
