Selling Sunset: Season 6 official Netflix trailer
Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi claimed during an episode of Selling Sunset that Nick Cannon doesn’t need to pay child support, with the real estate lawyer coming forward to clarify.
In the season six premiere of Selling Sunset, Tiesi claimed that Cannon doesn’t need to pay child support due to the number of children he has.
She claimed: “The way it works is, like, after 10, the court can basically say he can’t afford to pay child support.
“Or because he is who he is, they could say, ‘We know you can afford X amount for each household’.”
Her lawyer, Neama Rahmani, has now come forward to US Weekly to clarify her client’s statement, admitting the social media star “should know better”.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “Bre, you should know better!
“That is absolutely not true. There’s no cap on child support based on the number of children.
“So, to the extent that Nick Cannon can have babies, he owes child support for those babies under California law.”
Then in a further statement to Entertainment Weekly, Rahmani continued: “I was clarifying that Nick has a legal obligation to pay child support under California law.

“I didn’t address whether the mothers of his children have requested child support or whether Nick has paid it to Bre or others.”
In addition to Legendary Love, Cannon is the father to eleven children from six different women.
While on Selling Sunset, Tiesi is seen referring to Cannon as “my man” and calls him her best friend.
But when she was asked about their relationship status on the Netflix show, she was unsure how to respond.
She explained: “My situation’s interesting. I don’t know if I would say I’m single.
“I’ve been in ― I don’t want to call it open, but open relationship, I guess.”
Tiesi claimed that she and Cannon have agreed they are not required to be faithful, and she isn’t interested in a traditional relationship after her failed marriage to Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.
This comes as Cannon quipped in recent months that he must have “super sperm” due to fathering so many children.
The former America’s Got Talent presenter claimed previously that he didn’t use condoms and that his partners were on birth control.
Speaking on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, Nick said: “I’m gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something, ’cause I’ve practised birth control, and people still got pregnant.
“I’m trying to be as responsible as I possibly can, learning lessons…”
