Superior Court Judge Dianna Gould-Saltman has extended the restraining order placed upon Prenell Rousseau of Farmingville, New York, by 3 years, as requested by the Grammy Award-winning alt-pop star Billie Eilish.
The 24-year-old man was originally arrested for trespassing at the singer’s California home and harassing her father by demanding to know whether or not she lived there by contacting him through the home’s surveillance camera.
According to the original complaint filed against him, Rousseau also proceeded to seat himself on their lawn and “began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue,” Eilish stated.
Although the singer’s attorney Mark D. Passin requested a 5-year extension of the restraining order, Saltman deemed that 3 years would suffice, as the man had made no further attempts to contact the singer since his first two attempts on May 4 and 5.
