Ariana Grande‘s Positions stays atop the Billboard 200 albums chart for a second week after debuting atop the chart dated November 14.
According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, Positions earned 83,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending November 12, down about 53% from a week earlier. The record debuted atop the list a week earlier, logging 174,000 units.
Out of the 83,000 units earned in the tracking week, SEA units comprise 73,000 (down 43%, equaling 99.5 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs), 8,000 comprise album sales (down 81%) and 1,000 comprise TEA units (down 61%).
Positions is Grande’s second chart-topping album to spend two weeks at No. 1 following Thank U, Next, which spent a total of two weeks in the lead (its debut week, and second week – Feb. 23 and March 2, 2019). Overall, Grande now has five No. 1 albums.
Pop Smoke‘s Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon ranks No. 2 on the list, The kid LAROI‘s F*ck Love is at No. 3 and Luke Combs‘ What You See Is What You Get remains at No. 4, while King Von‘s Welcome to O’Block has risen to No. 5.
