Love Island star AJ Bunker, 29, has coined her dating life as "awful," while admitting she worries people will "just date her for the fame."
The reality star has become a recognised face since appearing on the 2021 series of the hit reality series, but she's worried this won't do her any favours on the dating front.
"I definitely get scared that people just want to date for the fame. And I get scared that a guy is going to date me just to be like 'oh I've been on a date with a Love Island girl,'" AJ told OK!
She added: "There's some people that you go on dates with and I wonder if they just want me to promote things for them. It's such a scary field to be in because you don't know who is genuine."
AJ described her dating life as "just awful," and admitted she's now on the market "ready to mingle and meet someone."
As a result, the gorgeous 29 year old hasn't ruled out another dating show, sharing: "I feel like I've done the dating show thing but I'd love to do it again. I'm so open to that."
AJ admitted she finds it helpful when someone she's dating understands the industry, but she's not after someone with a blue tick by their name.

"Dating people now that don't understand this industry is what makes it hard. I dated one person who felt he had to impress me, because of me being on Love Island."
AJ continued: "For me, I've always had genuine intentions. I'm all about love, I love being in love and I want to meet the right person. I don't want to force it though or put pressure on myself but I have just turned 29 so it would be nice to meet the right person. I don't want to just date people that have a blue tick."
The former hair extension technician admitted she's had some famous faces sliding into her Instagram DMs.
While she didn't name any names, AJ did say: "With guys who slide into your DMs you just don't know if they're just there because you've got a blue tick and you've been on a show, so it's hard to know if they're being genuine or not.
"Yeah I've had famous faces sliding into my DMs. I won't say who but I've had footballers, and other people."
It comes as the star also told OK! why she felt the need to get her cheek filler removed after Love Island.
"When I first came out there was massive trolling over my cheek fillers and looking old and being too old for Love Island and that kind of thing," the beauty shared with us.

She continued: "I still get it now, even though I've had it dissolved.
"Once someone starts a comment and all of that begins, it's never really going to go. When I first came out – I'm not saying I agreed – but I saw the filler was too much, so I saw where the comments came from.
"I was upset because I was upset for myself for doing it and knew it didn't look right, but then you're getting trolled which makes it hard because I knew it didn't look right but I was also constantly being told about it."
The 29 year old recently headed to Caudwell Children charity to read Grumbalina children’s books, in an act of giving back over the festive period.
Discussing the experience with us, AJ said: "It was honestly so rewarding and amazing.
"I was fortunate to be invited up there to read the Grumbalina books and went up there for the day and spent some time with the children. They were so lovely, and it was an incredible experience."
